I am a psychiatrist providing a wide range of therapeutic services for adults and adolescents. I have a particular expertise in psychopharmacology as well as several psychotherapeutic modalities, including Mentaliztion-Based Psychotherapy and Relational Therapy.
In my work, I take an individualized approach to meet the unique needs of each patient. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, relationships and parenting as well as borderline and narcissistic personalities.
My psychiatric evaluations are comprehensive and will include diagnosis and treatment plan.

While I have extensive training and experience utilizing evidenced based treatments for a variety of childhood disorders, I take an eclectic approach to treatment planning to meet the unique needs of children and families.
Couples Counselling

Dr. Coffey
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and my M.D. from Columbia University of College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. After completing my residency in psychiatry at Yale-New Haven Hospital, | had a successful private practice in New Haven for 30 years while serving on clinical faculty at Yale Medical School and Yale New Haven Hospital.
